Can I dilute strong fragrance oils with Jojoba or Coconut oil inside the diffuser bottle?
Stop right there! Please do NOT add carrier oils to your scent machine tank! ❌
The Golden Rules of Dilution:
Never add water to a waterless diffuser oil bottle (oil and water don't mix, it will cause sputtering and rust). []
Never add fatty carrier oils. []
The Fix: If the scent is too intense, do not dilute the liquid. Instead, dial down the intensity via your machine's timer (e.g., reduce Work time to 5s, increase Pause time to 150s). Let the timer do the thinning for you!
Save your coconut oil for your skin, and keep the diffuser tank pure!
