Under normal residential or commercial operation with proper alcohol flushing, a premium atomizing core lasts between 12 to 24 months.
Signs that it’s time to buy a replacement core:
You've flushed it with alcohol multiple times, but the mist density is still 50% weaker than when it was brand new.
The machine is making a louder, high-pitched whistling noise (indicating the internal pressure micro-orifice has worn out or expanded due to friction).

Oil pooling inside the compartment is almost always caused by a misplaced or worn-out seal. 🔧
Please check these 3 critical sealing points:
The O-Ring Gasket: Check inside the connector where the oil bottle screws in. There is a small rubber O-ring. If it's missing, twisted, or flattened, air pressure will escape, causing the oil to leak downward instead of moving up into the nozzle.
Overfilling the Bottle: Never fill the aluminum or plastic bottle to the absolute brim. Leave about 0.5 inch (1-2 cm) of headspace at the top. When the pump creates high-velocity airflow, an overfilled bottle can cause liquid oil to be sucked into the air return vent.
The Tilting Rule: Always keep the machine strictly vertical. If the machine is knocked over or tilted while holding oil, the fluid will escape into the air-pump circuitry.

Here is the mechanical reason why: Ultrasonic diffusers use water as a carrier, but our commercial nebulizers utilize waterless nano-atomization.
If water enters the high-pressure precision nozzle or the internal air pump, it will cause flash rusting of the mechanical components and permanently ruin the pressure seals.
Furthermore, oil and water don't mix. Introducing water will cause the remaining fragrance oil to emulsify into a milky, thick sludge that will completely brick the atomizer core. Stick strictly to 90%+ Isopropyl Alcohol or Ethanol—they evaporate completely and leave zero residue!
