Why is my diffuser not turning on in the afternoon?
I’ve seen this exact issue happen to hundreds of members here. Don't worry, your machine isn't broken! In 95% of cases, this "afternoon ghosting" boils down to how the microchip reads your timer configuration.
Let's do a quick diagnostic check together:
The 24-Hour Glitch (Most Likely): Our commercial scent diffusers operate strictly on a 24-hour clock. If you want the machine to start at 2:00 PM and you programmed it as 02:00, it actually ran at 2:00 AM while you were asleep! You need to change it to 14:00.
The "Overnight Loop" Trap: Did you set a single timer period to run from late night into the next day (e.g., 20:00 to 04:00)? The system cannot process a start time higher than the end time in one cycle. You must split it into two events (Event 1: 20:00-23:59 and Event 2: 00:01-04:00).
The Scent Blindness / Long Pause Check: Is your Pause (P) timer set too high? If it's set to Work 10s / Pause 200s, the machine will sit completely silent for over 3 minutes. It might look dead, but it's just resting.
